| MSC
MSC stands for Missionaries
of the Sacred Heart (Missionarii Sacratissimi Cordis) founded by
Fr. Jules Chevalier at Issoudun in 1854. The MSC are a group of
Brothers and Priests and are an International Order of about 2,100
working in over 50 countries, including many Third World Countries.
Here in Australia they number about 220 and work in Parishes, Colleges,
Retreat Centres, in specialised ministry among urban and traditional
aborigines, chaplains to the Armed Services, Universities, Hospitals,
working in the Media, in ministry to people living with HIV+/AIDS
and in many other areas.
